AMAZON
Be part of a team that works with local Brazilian church partners in establishing relationships with villages along the Amazon River. Bent Tree will hopefully have the pleasure of participating in the dedication of the Samaritan Village Seminary that will be funded by our Building There dollars. 

Approximate Cost: $3300, plus necessary immunizations and/or passport cost

CAMBODIA
World Relief Cambodia focuses their work on 5 key sectors: HIV/AIDS prevention and education, maternal & child health, micro-enterprise, church mobilization, and trafficking prevention. They have been a long time global partner of Bent Tree and as their needs change, we try to adapt to the ways we can come alongside them via sending teams. This year we hope to combine some ESL (English as a Second Language) along with a focus on prayer while walking with and encouraging the World Relief staff.

Crisis relief and development through timely and strategic mobilization
 

HAITI
Bent Tree will be partnering with Kids Alive International as they provide Christian care for orphaned children and people that have suffered from the effects of the earthquake that struck Haiti in January of 2010. (This trip for only open to The Clearing, Bent Tree’s young adult ministry).

Approximate Cost: $2000.00, plus necessary immunizations and/or passport cost

Lifting children out of danger, poverty, and illiteracy
 

UGANDA
Bent Tree will partner with Village of Hope as they minister to orphans in post-war Northern Uganda. This team will join Bent Tree Missionary, Cindy Cunningham, to come alongside the teachers, house moms, and the children living at the village.

Join People for Missions/Houses of Hope as they reach out to the community, specifically through their orphan ministry, inner city youth ministry, and school outreaches.
